Questions
Are these Christmas songs playlists free?
Yes. Every track is a Purrple Cat Self Release under CC BY 4.0: stream it here, download the MP3 or grab a whole stocking as an M3U playlist.
Are these Christmas carol covers?
No. They are original holiday and winter Self Releases by Purrple Cat — albums like Snowbound and Ice Palace — plus other winter-sounding tracks picked by their audio features, not by their titles.
How were the tracks picked?
The first song in each stocking is chosen so its title fits the theme and its sound fits too. Every song after that is chosen only by energy, mood (valence) and acousticness. A track with a summer title can still land in a stocking if the audio fits.
Can I use the music in my videos or streams?
Yes. Free to use with credit on all social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Facebook, X and more), and livestreams are fine. Neither the music nor remixes, samples or covers of it may be uploaded to music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music, because that causes false Content ID claims. No. It’s all written and produced by Purrple Cat.
Does it have vocals?
No. Every track on these Christmas songs playlists is instrumental.
